The ultimate free roam mess about game!
First, the game play mechanics are brilliant. The grapple hook is a great addition to the series. It allows you to grapple up mountains and cliffs, saving you from walking everywhere, although you can fly helicopters. It can also be used to pull enemies off ledges and tow them along on a car, which is very amusing. The parachute makes a return, this time improved. You can now use the parachute then again use it straight after.
Second, there are a huge range of vehicles and places. There are interesting places to go to, from a rocket base to a club high up in the sky. The vehicles range from an ordinary every day car to a massive army tank with a machine gun on top. There are over 300 places and over 100 vehicles.
Third, the game can last for months. After completing every story mission, you can finish side missions, complete every race challenge or search for every collectible. You can also ruin the towns, cities and military bases, earning 'chaos' points. It is somehow amusing watching a broadcast tower fall to the ground.
This game is brilliant. It is a sometimes glitched, but does not stop it from becoming the ultimate free roam, mess about game.
