Frustrating, but fun dinosaur hunting.

Jurassic: The Hunted is probably a game very few of heard of and probably even harder to find in stores. However, hidden behind its mediocre cover is a game that strives to be a fun dino killing game, though with some problems.

The game has a weak storyline, which can literally be ignored if need be. In short, your sucked into a portal which lands you into the valley of the dinosaurs where you use various era weapons to fend off hungry lizards.

The weapons range from flint lock rifles to modern day assault rifles. For those who beat the game and try it on hard, the game throws in a special treat. *BEGIN SPOILER* A infinte ammo particle rifle of some sort. Kills most with one hit *END SPOILER*

The dinosaurs themselves are several different raptor species, the evil Spinosaurus. (The evil boss from Jurassic Park 3), your Petrasaours, and of course, the T-Rex. Rounding the group are the basic scorpions. I wish they were more dinosaurs, like seeing other native dino's, but sadly the only others you see are either dead or flash by in just seconds.

The graphics aren't bad, and the sounds are pretty top notch. You'll probably feel like your pulled into the world of Jurassic, minus the levels that have you mucking around in a cave which seems to just mire the fun.

Overall, this isn't a bad game in anyway. The game is rather cheap and is enjoyable for a few run throughs.
