For many, The Dream of a Naruto vs. Goku fight has been realized. For others, Japanese is a weird Language.

User Rating: 9.2 | Jump Superstars DS
When stories of Jump Superstars swam stateside, Fan-boys simply wet themselves. For them, by Flicking the switch on their new Nintendo DS', They had many countless dream matches at the palms of their hands. I'm guessing a feeling like this is close to feeling like God.

One could probably guess the appeal of a Super Smash Bros. knock-off, Especially one that includes characters from Popular shows such as One Peice, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Bobobo-bobo-bobo, Shaman King, Yu-yu Hakisho, Rurouni Kenshin and even Yu-Gi-Oh! (plus characters from lesser known anime/manga, such as JoJo's Bizzarre Adventure and Hunter x Hunter).

Superstars uses a system called the "koma system". The koma systems groups characters into categories such as battle, help and support Komas. As their name imples, help and support komas aid your characters in some way (although the effects of support comma may only be seen on the bottom screen.) and Battle koma are the character you actually fight with. Using a system similar to Resident evil 4's item slot system, you must fit your koma into a "deck" while you can create up to ten custom decks, there are already several decks to choose from.

while the Japanese may be hard to decipher, one cannot deny there is a certain appeal to JSS. while single player is a hoot, friends may be enticed to import a copy (be nice and pay half) and join in for multi-player melee.

whether your dying to see yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh! kick some ass or aching for the type innovative fun that only the good folk from the land of the rising sun can bring you, Jump Superstars is well worth importing.
