Amidst the plethora of PSP racing titles, Juiced 2 stands head above.

I recently have gone on a racing game binge and this is an exceptional title. I have tried so many other PSP titles that have left me wanting. Juiced brings together a bunch of great ideas into a functional package. A lot like Midnight Club 3: DUB and many parts other racers, Juiced allows a player to buy and race many vehicles for the goal of buying more and racing. The graphics are pretty good and load times are GREAT, (short). Game play works fantastic and the drift mechanic is highly satisfying and physically correct. The only issue that throws the game off a bit is the crash mechanic and damage which is missing. Most of the racing seems to increase in difficulty only after the first few levels so you are not thrown into a difficult mess, but rather coaxed into it. The music is fair and basically non-existent at times while racing. If I could add one aspect to this game to make it better it would be open world driving, like MC3. This is a fun game that successfully captures arcade and minor simulation well in a small package.
