User Rating: 9.3 | Joust NES
I am going to break up this review into three parts; Gameplay, Graphics and Sound. At the end I will sum it all up in sentence.

Gameplay

Joust. In joust you control a knight a top of his trusty steed, some kind of bird. You flap around while killing other knights and gathering eggs . Good times, good times. Anyway, Joust in my book, is one of the best games of all time. The simple controls and endless fun to be had is amazing. Although there is basically one game mode, it has good replay value if a limited over time. There is an option for two players to battle, which is good fun if you have any buddies.10/10

Graphics

Joust has simple yet colorful graphics that are good for the NES. Not particularly good just good. They could be better but the vibrant colors and sloshing lava at the bottom make for a good environment, even if it is recycled throughout the game.8/10

Sound

Simple yet effective sound. There are only a few sounds for different things but the catchy tune at the title screen is really awesome. Although it is a limited sound roster it is a good one.7/10

If you own a NES, have a few buddies and don’t mind having to look all over the place for this game, get it now. Its well worth the money, but be warned. Don’t spend too much money because it does get a little repetitive after a while.
