He wasn't much of a fighter after all, since he took a beating from pre-Hamon Jonathan.

But what if the game had assists? I don't think CC2 would leave out such an awesome person in that instance.

Also, why is "Take it on the Run" the only REO Speedwagon song I ever hear on the radio?

Assists would be out of the question, but would`ve been cool set 1 or 2 assists using characters who are not as important as who would be the main battle characters.

But I would have liked it if Speedwagon maybe showed up during one of Jonathan's moves and threw his hat.

Maybe if somehow Johnathan makes it into Project J (although if a JoJo representative makes it in its gonna be Joutarou, it`s people voting for characters after all).

I get that Stands made the series unique. I still like (part 2) Joseph better than Jotaro. :/

Yeah I love Joutarou and all but I really wanted to have another main character, but when people think JoJo it`s always Joutarou as a main and Part 3 Dio as the enemy.

Yeah I love Joutarou and all but I really wanted to have another main character, but when people think JoJo it`s always Joutarou as a main and Part 3 Dio as the enemy.

Uggh. Yeah, in Jump Super Stars it was Jotarou and Dio as playable fighters and a few Steel Ball Run reps as assists.

Jump Ultimate Stars, same thing but with Jonathan and Joseph instead of the Steel Ball Run gang.

Well look at it this way, Japanese readers of WSJ are the ones who vote for their characters, so as long as its free and not in poll form, we may see another JoJo to take up the roll!

Put Speedwagon in as the joke character of the game. His razor blade hat, the sledge he uses to smash Dio's mask, maybe some other "dirty" attacks. He'd be the guy you use to troll and humiliate people!

In Silver Age Superman terms, Jonathan is Superman.
Dio is Lex Luthor because he and Jonathan knew each other when they were both young and it was essentially Jonathan who inadvertantly helped Dio become the powerful villain he is known as. He may have been beaten up by Jonathan once as a human, but that vulnerability was short lived.
Speedwagon however... is the Jimmy Olsen. Forever stuck as a sidekick/best friend.
And I guess Zeppeli would be the Kent family, because it was Zeppeli who made Jonathan the hero he was.
George Joestar is of course Jor-El because he is Jonathan's dead father.

And of course both Jonathan and Superman died though that is more of a bronze age similarity.
Another Bronze Age similarity would be Erina as Lois.

I always imagine Speedwagon's play style should be kinda similar to Exdeath from Dissidia, a counterattack-er lol. but instead of actually hitting back the opponent, Speedwagon would throw out comments on the attack that was used (for example "Gah! Even Speedwagon is afraid" - completed with special animation). Upon this the opponent would be stunned (with a cringe animation) for a few seconds, and Speedwagon's super bar would be charged rapidly (says, he got one bar after 4-5 sucessful counter-comments). His HHA would be hitting the opponent once with his hat, while his GHA would be hitting the opponent repeatedly, using the hat like a chainsaw like in the manga. Gives him some generic punch and kick attack, too.

Oh and in case that he is chosen against Jonathan, Speedwagon automatically loses.

That ****ing pansy. But that ****ing pansy is playable. Therefore, characters who lost to pre-ripple Jonathan can still be playable.

Jonathan got lucky in the mansion after Dio became a vampire, and Dio made some stupid choices too that led to Jonathan having a chance at winning.
