^Except in SMT they use literal demons, not personas. They happen in different universes under the same franchise. So no, they're not the same. The reason the whole persona vs stand debate even exists is because of their similarities. SMT2 doesn't have personas summoned from the subconscious mind, they have demons. It's not the same. Yes, the people from SMT would wipe out the Stand Users, but we're not talking about them. We're talking about the sub-series known as Persona.

Same universe but a spin off like every part of the SMT franchise. All Personas in Persona are demons in the SMT franchise.
I`m a master in both the SMT franchise and the JoJo universe. I know what I`m saying, friend !

Then you would know that as far as their strenght goes they only have raw magic power, being a deity on SmT isn't a sign of omnitpotence as they can be tamed by humans with equally or stronger magic power. Stands on the other hand are full of beings with special properties and reality bending powers. Starway to Heaven is more godlike than YHVH or Lucifer will ever be.

No, the SMT verse as a whole would wipe the floor with JJBA. Lucifer and YHVH have cosmic power far beyond anything even Stairway to Heaven can produce.

This topic shouldn't exist, you do realize that God was an Enemy turned person and helped defeat Yuda (The Jewish god) in a SMT. Therefore (as much as I love JoJo) Stands wouldn't `Stand` a chance.

This is wrong too. We're only discussing the Persona universe vs. JoJo's. The main SMT series and other spinoffs have no business here.

I've tried to avoid posting in this topic, since I don't know enough about Persona OR the SMT series to really compare.

But I need to bring this up; at the end of JJBA Part 7, the main villain President Valentine has successfully combined his Stand with the Stand of none other than Jesus Christ, rendering him almost invincible. And the main heroes still managed to beat him.

Also, the end of Part 6 involved a Stand that literally gave a character godlike abilities, allowing them to rewrite the world as they saw fit.

So yeah. "God is a Persona so Personas win" doesn't hold up since God is also a Stand, apparently.

Since when do Personas = Demons? Because last time I checked, they didn't. All the sane talk has been done and over with. Just either accept that you're wrong or keep your delusions to yourself.

I`m sorry maybe I should stop playing SMT in Japanese when there are all referred to as Demons ;>>, In that case I am correct.

Also due to this discussion only being the Persona part of the SMT universe, then I apologise.

Also referring to Part 6 and 7, yes that is true. I didn`t mean Persona would Win I just mean that God and Yeda were both real difficult main parts of the main SMT series.

I understand now that it is only Personas universe Vs. the JoJo universe (both of them) and I retract my answers (also I did drink a lot last night lol D.

The thing is some stands have abilities that are absolute and cosmic power has nothing to do with it. GER brings everything to "zero." Everything. It doesn't matter how powerful you are. There's no "defending" against it.

D4C brings a copy of you to the universe and each copy is drawn to the other. When they touch they die. Again, defense has nothing to do with it.

Hell, Heaven's Door is activated by touch and would allow Rohan to just erase their knowledge of their own abilities.

There's only so much you can assume. YHVH creates and destroys multiverses (clusters of universes) just by blinking. Lucifer is right below him and there are tons of demons and angels that almost rival the two in power.

GER is universal in that it was able to counter Crimson King's universal time screw, and Stairway to Heaven is universal in that it was able to remake a universe. One universe. Low-mid tiers in SMT can do that.

D4C won't work because there are no alternate versions of most of these guys. Each of them are one singular entity in multiple universes, and even if it there were alternate versions I highly doubt the ability would be effective.

Heaven's Door and practically every other stand is easily countered by just warping reality, which pretty much everybody in SMT can do. I love JoJo's but they're outclassed here.
