Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising is a great game in terms of weapons, vehicles and graphics for the time of it's creation. There is now far less players but it's still enjoyable for all to play. There are still "hacks" and certain glitches left in the game that haven't been fixed. As time goes by, more players will start to leave the game to play new Novalogic games such as Delta Force: Angel Falls among others along that genre. Other games include ARMA series and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising 2. The game is very realistic but hard. A few shots and you will be dead. The game is not easy for most players. Players learn to use cover and other tactics to destroy the enemy. It is deplorable that sometimes though on weeknights you see no players in the main official servers. New official maps need to be released if Novalogic wants to keep current players.
