Horrible Golfing experience with the Move, stick to Tiger Woods.

User Rating: 1 | John Daly's ProStroke Golf PS3
I was looking for a good golfing game for my PlayStation Move and I kept reading previews and stuff that this game was going to be better than Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011. I had played the demo of Tiger Woods was actually quite surprised at how good it felt (regardless of what people say, it does feel better than the Wii version). But John Daly's Pro Stroke Golf was apparently built from the ground up with the Move controller in mind. They really screwed up with it.

First of all, the interface was horrible! Unlike other Move titles or even Wii titles navigating the menus is a nightmare with the move controller. For some reason the cursor is extremely jittery, and it's hard to select the option you want. Half the time the cursor jitters over an option you don't want to select. It's extremely annoying. I don't know why other games can get it right, but that is defiantly something unique to this game that I haven't had a a problem with before.

The second most frustrating part of the game is you can't just jump in and start playing. They require you to beat John Dally at various challenges on a particular corse before you can even play a tournament on that course. He always seems to hit his balls exactly where they need to go, but me on the other hand, I'm swinging my controller exactly the way I'd swing a golf club and the ball never seems to do what I want or think it should do.

Bottom line is, this game was hyped to be the most realistic golfing experience with the Move controller, but I'd steer clear of this title and just stick with Tiger Woods PGA Tour.
