Maybe it was because I played this game when I was 7, but all I ever managed to do was release my payload of missiles into the buildings surrounding the runway from where I was to take-off. After that, I could find the enemies on radar. The AI seems to direct them straight at you, then by the time you have both turned around you are so far away that all you can do is fly by them once again. This game was amazing.
