Back in the 90's-early 00's the internet was still primitive compared to todays internet so the better way to get information you had to have a subscription to Playstation Underground witch told you about new games and hints on some released ones. Its where most people got there information unlike most people get it from commercials but back then this was the best source. But what was the coolest part is that every month or few months a magazine would come with a disc called Jampack and these discs had a couple demos,some stuff to burn on your memory card,some tricks that help you with a game,some behind the scenes stuff and going to events while talking about a videogame based on that event or sport and that was it. It doesnt sound like much but back then it was so big to get to try at some new games especially if you have been waiting for them or its a sequel to your favorite series it was just that big.

So the in this review Im talking and reviewing about Jampack Winter 2000. There are 9 demos in this game. A regular person would at least like one of these games. So lets talk about em. The first demo is Coolboarders 2001. In this demo you get to ride down this short hill trying to get as many points as possible before you get to the bottom. Its not a great demo in my perspective but snowboarding fans couldnt wait for the game to come out. I guess someone in my family couldnt wait and he gave this game to me for free. Guess he liked it and got bored with it.

The next demo is Crash Bash and I only like CTR out of the Crash series but man this a fun demo! There are 3 mingames to play like Pogo Painter,some polar game where you ride polar bears and try to knock them off of the giant block of ice into the water (that would be freezing!), and this other game witch is like Pogo Painter but a little different. This demo even has 2 player! Now thats cool!

This demo is called Army Men Air Attack 2 and it sucks! I dont know what Im doing! Its so hard and Ive never been able to beat it. EVER!!!!! Besides Ive heard this game sucks anyway.

Now we have Disney's 102 Dalmation Puppies to the Rescue and you are probably like uh-oh a disney game and you think it might suck but Ive played the game before and beaten it and its actually really fun if you tried it. Well the demo lets you see the intro of the game and lets you play the Snow...Artic level or something and its the most boring level of the game but its still very fun. When I was little I thought this was the first level of the game but when I actually played the game that level was until later and I thought something was wrong with the game. Thought I'd just tell ya that.

Now this demo is Madden NFL 2001 and well I hate football games so Ive never played it so lets go on to the next demo shall we.

Ok this ones called Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX and yes its a Sports game but its a freestyle game AHHHHH!!!! Anyway Ive played the demo and god the controls and the envirments dont go together. I try to get out of a hole and all I do I go up in the air come back down into the hole and that gets me frustrated so after a minute of button mashing I get out of the hole and quit the demo but when I quit I cant get back to the main screen cause the disc freezes on me cause its old and has some scratches on it but at least it still plays. Well when it freezes I have to press restart so I dont play that demo unless I got nothing to do. Well on to the next demo.

Well heres the Spiderman demo and its a great demo! This demo lets you play 2 levels. The first level is where you have to get to the daily bugle before Scorpion kills J.J. and level 2 is where you beat up scorpion. Its a fun demo.

This is the worst demo on here its Sydney 2000 its based on the Olympics and god its terrible. Your character is so slow and when I try to jump I wont jump cause the controls SUCK!!!!!

Well finally we have here the best demo on the disk and its Spyro Year of the Dragon and what makes this demo great is 1 Its Spyro. 2 it lets you play 3 levels. and 3 its SPYRO!!!! IT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well finally we are done with the demos. Now we get to talk about extras!

First there is the download station where you put in a memory card and you can put stuff on your memory card that lets you unlock everything for Grind Session and Tenchu 2. If only I had those games.

There is cool tricks in witch they give you tricks for CTR and Twisted Metal 4. If you want to know what these tricks are then send me a letter and I will tell you.

There is this cool movie where they talk about the spiderman game on how they made it. They have it somewhere on youtube if you want to see it.

Then finally there is the the Event Center in witch they go to Canada to show some stuff from some skateboarding competition while talking about the game grind session.

Well there you have it thats whats in this disk and its pretty cool. If you just read this entire review than I'm impressed you read this entire thing. Well thats it for this review. I give this game a 7.5/10.
