Jamestown Is Worth Your Time
The art and music in this game are incredibly refined and appropriate. There is humor in the backgrounds, and detailed fights and scenery. The soundtrack is above and beyond anything I've ever heard in an indie game, and makes it into my top five for any video game at all.
The storyline, though I'm not done with it yet so I can't say for sure, is wonderful so far. The setting, and the imagination, with a touch of comfortable cliche, is reminiscent of the best of Hayao Miyazaki (think Castle in The Sky, Nausicaa), and is a great thing to behold.
You're robbing yourself of a great game if you are into anything old-school, steampunk, or simply well made, and Jamestown is all of those things and more.
