James Cameron's Avatar: The Game is good and sometimes bad. The story takes place in Pandora which is being mined by the Resources Development Administration (RDA). The story isn't linked anyway to the movie except that they are mining and have to fight the Na'vi the people who live there and want them to leave. You play as Ryder a signal specialist who works for RDA. Ryder has DNA sample which matches to a Na'vi hybrid. You will go every where from Hells Gate to the Home Tree. You have got 2 choices later in the game, to be the blue skinned Na'vi's side or the Humans.

The game play is quite impressive you move with the left stick, move the camera with the right stick, shoot with the right trigger, left trigger to dodge, press the LB button to select the different powers you can make for example turn invisible, call the air force to bomb the area which you are looking at. The vehicles in the game are small it includes Buggy, Scorpion, Dragon, etc. When driving a buggy for example is annoying the camera reacts to every bump, somersault in the air. The animals which only Na'vis can control are less annoying. The Ikran is very hard to control the first time and the Direhorse dies from a big leap. the weapons in the game are large. As a human you use fire power and as a Na'vi you use blades and bows. Later in the game you get better guns and melee weapons like better assault rifle, better dual blades, etc. The environment is beautiful it goes from the green jungle to the yellow desert. You may spot some glitches in the game.

The graphics are nice. From the explosion of a plant to the alarm going of in a base the graphics look very real. It looks as if they put alot of work into this game but have left some parts of the game unfinished. Also the sound is great the sound of a assault fire shot or the swing of your dual blades the sound very nice. The speaking may have a bit mistakes but they won't be noticed.

Overall everything in James Cameron's Avatar: The Game is good. You may be frustrated from all the dying you take but I would recommend this to all who have seen the movie.
