Ok, It's not THAT bad, you should still try it out
ok, don't get me wrong, it's still quite generic and plain for a shooting game, but the nice thing about this game is, how both factions are different yet the same for example, The Na'vi fights with fighting staffs, dual blades, axes and bows and arrows and the RDA (humans) have heavy duty machine guns, flamethrowers, dual pistols etc. Eventually this game, I started liking the game because playing the Na'vi was actually fun, I felt like a hunter with a bow and arrow killing soldiers at ease from a long distance
The nice thing about this game is the graphics, for something so generic, the graphics are quite impressive, nice visuals shows off the jungle and the creatures are just gorgeous, one of my favorite creatures in this game is HUGE hammerhead monster that you have to kill in the game, it looked so nice. Another good point is the leveling up in the game, well it was nice for me since i wanted to keep getting exp. points so that i can get a new armor (just a little bonus i guess)
ok now the bad parts, umm where do i start. Gameplay is bland and can sometimes be boring. I.E. too many fetch quest on both factions, you will find yourself either collecting shards, finding people or gathering plants (i know...plants!) Also the Story is a yawner, not really what i expected, but what can you do, they can't spoil the movie so that was a let down, another let down would be the controls, ohemgee, controlling a freaking vehicle is so annoying! ugh ill stop here before i say bad things.
all and all its worth more than a 5.5, maybe a 7, 7.5 at best because if you really try and give this game a chance, i'm sure you'll like it. might not be worth full price, but if ever you find it in the bargain bin, I suggest you should play it. anyways that's all for now! have fun!
