User Rating: 9.5 | James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing PS2
I bought this game expecting it to be a fun spy game that would have a short story line and many James Bond picking-up-women moments. Boy, was I wrong! Stealth coupled with shoot-em-up moments makes for a perfect combination of acting on a whim and thinking before you jump into action.

It does have a few picking-up-women moments, but nothing I haven't seen in the movies. There is one scene, called a Bond Moment, where James massages a half-naked woman on a table, but the game doesn't really show anything completely inappropriate for children 12 and under.

The game is also surprisingly well-balanced between driving vehicles and being on foot. Some of the vehicle moments include driving a car trying to catch up to a moving train, driving a limo with a bomb on it that will explode if you go under a certain speed limit, and driving a tank through a small village in a foreign country.

"Company" cars are decked out with a variety of small-scale weapons, including a machine gun and missile launcher. Handheld weapons include machine guns, silenced pistols, and sniper rifles. This game also includes a variety of gadgets, including Q-Spiders that blow up by pressing a button, grenades disguised as coins, and vehicles.

The game has special unlockables that can be accessed by completing certain goals or completing levels on a certain difficulty. You can unlock production art, characters, and cheats.

Speaking of cheats, this game has no cheats that you just punch in and see what happens. First, you have to play a level on the 00 Agent difficulty (the hardest difficulty), which will unlock the ability to play it AGAIN on the 00 Agent difficulty AND receive a Platinum award. You have to get a certain number of Platinum awards, which, in turn, will unlock cheats. The number of required Platinum awards goes in 2's; the first cheat (Golden Gun) will be unlocked with one Platinum award. The second will be unlocked with 3 Platinums, the third with 5, etc.

And on top of all this cheat nonsense, if you use a cheat in a level on any difficulty, you won't pass the level. You will have to restart it and play it without cheats. That's the only annoying thing, because the cheats include special weapons, unlimited ammo, and invincibility!

Other than the cheat crisis, the game is addicting and the graphics are amazing for a PS2 game. I highly recommend this game.
