The worst detective game to date. The bright point is that I can tap to 'think' because I hate reading the story.

I can stand Phoenix Wright and even get moderately addicted to it because it was innovative, partly, but the characters, story, artwork, music, etc. were all really quite respectable.

This... thing... basically had a dev team run around taking photographs of boring locations, apparently, and digitizing them in the worst possible way. Then slapped on uninspired but at least credibly drawn character art on top of this.

Couple it with a bizarre and tedious menu system and text that rapidly puts you to sleep so you just want to skip through it as fast as possible and there really is no redeeming feature.

The opening cutscene to episode 3, for instance, is about 3 minutes of a blank screen with the character saying to himself 'I woke up this morning and stumbled into work... Here I am at the Jake Hunter Detective Agency, where I need to do work.' Something to that effect, anyway, in film noir writing that should be funny because it's so badly written but takes itself too seriously to laugh at.

Feel free to tap repeatedly through this mindless drivel and uninteresting conversations because if you miss anything you can tap the 'Think' button and guess the answers to everything, anyway. The faster you tap through the text the less time you need to listen to the endlessly repeating song, or so you'd think... as many locations cheerfully start up playing the exact same music all over again.

No thanks. I'd rather play Phoenix Right over again than this dreadful bore. Even if it makes me shudder to go through the same cases I already figured out.
