Jak X is a pretty good racing game. Fans of the Jak series will enjoy it and maybe even racing fans if you like weapons. It has lots of different modes and secrets to unlock. The game is simialer to Crash Team Racing. The story starts out when a Jak and his friends are at a party(not exactly a party.) in Krew's honor because of his death. His daughter' Rayne' gives them a drink as a toast in the party' and they get a message from Krew saying that it was poisoned and the only way to get the cure is to win the Kras Grand Championship to get Krew the prize of the Championship. Gameplay: Jak X is a racing game but it has weapons and other modes that don't entirely have to do with racing. First off there are weapons such as homing missles' grenades' machine guns' homing missles' and even the super nova. Weapons can be fun when using on an opponent(or multiple opponents) and they are a good way to slow down enemies. Weapons are really good in Death match and death race. Weapons can be found in yellow eco. Back weapons' such as mines' can be used as well. These weapons can be used to deflect enemy weapons. You can gain boost from blue eco which is useful especially in races. Power sliding and hang time give you more boost. The tracks can be pretty difficult but they are still pretty fun You can play as almost every main character in the Jak series with some extras as well. You can unlock new vehicles and even customize its color' parts' and status. The graphics just like in any Jak game are nice 3D style. They are really good.
The game isn't really that long but it has lots of things to unlock such as vehicles' characters' levels' and every gold medal. Aside from that you can upgrade your vehicle and there is a multiplayer and online mode for you to check out.
Jak X has an interesting storyline especially for Jak fans. Jak X is a game worth checking out if you like Jak or maybe even racing games.
