The story line takes place after Jak 3. Jak is asked to listen to the reading Krews will at Kras City (a ruthless, gang controlled city). But the only thing Jak gets is a mouthful of posion. The only way he can get a cure is if he races in the Kras City Race Tournament and wins. The plot is a branch off the oringal Jak storyline. If and when you beat this game gives you some bragging rights (beating this game requires that you get first place in all races, fully enhancing all cars, unlocking all shop items, and doing it all over again in Hero Mode. I was still surprised by how short it was though. There are about 100 different races i think, but not all of them are races (thank God). I would say that only 50% of the events are racing. The other 50% of the game consists of Battle racing (destroy apponents before they destroy you), speed challenge (hit maximum speed more times then your opponents), item collecting (get every thing before time runs out), and alot of racing types that I dont want to get into. The car costomizing options are insaine. You can spend hours just costomizing you cars. You can paint the car in any color, which i think is amazing. 90% of the items look good on certian cars, and 5% of the items look good on any car, and 5% of the items dont look good on any car. This game is a great mulitiplayer and fun to play. A must have for all Jak fans.
