If you haven't experienced the Jak and Daxter series do so with this incredible trilogy HD remaster
So to begin with I shall do all 3 games seperate in terms of gameplay story and length. So lets begin with Jak and Daxter the Precursors Legacy
Jak and Daxter The Precurosrs Legacy
Jak and Daxter the Precursors Legacy sees Daxter turn from a human to into a strange creature. The gameplay is your basic platformer it takes alot of similarities to the Spyro series by collecting Power Cells by either collecting orbs or doing a small task. The game has power ups like speed shoes and loads of vechiles to ride on. The game has a decent length and good replay value with the Power Cell collecting.

Jak 2 Renegade
Jak 2 in most peoples opinion is the best in the series and for good reason it has a huge overworld and the game takes like a mission structure like GTA and it works out well. You also get a wide variety of weapons as well. You also have the ability to turn into Dark Jak a darker more powerful version of Jak but the only way you get to use him him is if you get enough Dark Eco to be him. The game has great length with well over 20 hours. The game is hard though that is one of the few criticism I have with the game it's incredibly long and tough so it might be a challenge beating it.

Jak 3
After Jak 2 Jak is left for dead in a desert and is rescued and is told about the trouble of Haven City in destruction. You have to vary your time between the Desert and Haven City which you can only go to about halfway through the game. The vechiles let you drive like a big Hopper and also even Daxter gets a bit of time to shine but his parts aren't to interesting. Jak also gets the Light ability to go with the Dark ability. The Light Jak ability gives him the ability to slow down time. Also the game is easier to in difficultly to Jak 2 but still pretty tough. It is also properly the same length as well.
Jak 3 Overall Score 9.1
Presentation
The games look great with the HD treatment while not as eye catching as say the Sly Trilogy games it looks sweet. The voice acting is still top notch as well.
Lastability
About 15 to hours for the first and over 20 for 2 and 3 yeh that's alot of hours in 3 games so you should be busy for a while.
Overall Opinion
Simple as this if you have never played these games do so because they are some of the finest platformers on Playstation. So enjoy the collection and have fun with the brilliant Jak and Daxter.
