The visuals for Call of Juarez are not that bad, well for a game that came out in 2007 and the visuals do look like they should have been on the PlayStation 2 or even the Original X-box. The detail to the environment's in this game are a little bland but again if you pick this game up now a days and if you know this game is from 2007 it is gonna show it, and the detail to the character's are a little odd looking but not that bad either and in fact the overall texture to the visuals are a little grainy looking but they are not all that bad and they are just ok on the detail and their are not to much frame rate issues with this game and in fact this game runs pretty smoothly and the game barely froze and well it never froze with me any way. So in short on the visuals of this game is this the visuals are grainy and out dated but is still just decently done good enough and are just plain good enough.
Now the audio in Call of Juarez is just excellent and in fact it was the best thing about the game from the voice work to the musical score of the sound track of this. The musical score to Call of Juarez is just amazing it went well with the game and all the moments that came in this game were just amazing. The voice work in Call of Juarez is just simply superb and the voice for Reverend Ray was the best voice work I have heard in a game and in fact he stole the show in my mind and the voice for the second main character Ray's step nephew Billy that voice work was just great as well and the voice to the rest of the cast was also amazing. So for the main part on the audio is in fact Just simply great and was of the parts that really made this game great.
Now that gameplay for Call of Juarez was great from the two character story line where you play as Billy the step Nephew of the other main character Reverend Ray which is an old gun slinger that has a troubled pass and between the two story's playing has Ray is more fun to play as because he get's to be involved in more gun fights with duel wielding six shooter's and getting in to some duel's which is the game's version of a boss fight which can be all intense and playing has Billy can be a little more tedious at time's cause it's more about the stealth and platforming game style's but still it is still a pretty great mix of game play. So you start the game of as Ray for a short moment but you begin the story as Billy coming home after not finding the lost gold of Juarez and you are on your way to see your mom and step dad and from the moment you show up in town as Billy you a guy constantly in the wrong place at wrong time and the game will switch you the other main character Reverend Ray and he goes and check's on the fire at is brother's house and see what is going on and when he get's their he see's Billy and Billy runs off and that where I'll leave it cause I don't like giving to much away in the story. So in short on the gun play it's all fine playing as Ray and it is a little clunky when playing as Billy cause he can use a gun, a bow sniper rifle's and rope so he can get around hard to reach areas and with Ray you can duel wield six shooter, hold a Bible and get a near by enemy to listen to you spreading the good news and the shoot him in the face if you like and he can also wield shotguns and rifles. So in short on the gameplay in Call of Juarez from the great story and fun gameplay it just simply plain fun and great.
The multi-player for Call of Juarez is fun if you can find a match, but because this game has been out since 2007 the on-line is simply dead.
The overall point for this game is this game worth checking out if you are into a great single player campaign and beside the on-line being basically dead but you could have some great fun with the single player and you can't go wrong with this game if you can find and you can find this game for $10 dollars and less and $5 dollars or less on-line and this game is worth it.
