Jade Cocoon was the first game i ever got for the playstation, so it does have a special place in my heart, but other than that its a great game that keeps your hooked, and the fact that you can breed the monsters and they actually look like a equal mix of the two is something that was never done so seamlessly and unfortunately would never be seen again. Also the fact that in this turn based RPG, the monsters were actually walking around and you could avoid them or fight them as you choose was i believe revolutionary for it's time.
in summation if you want a solid cheap RPG with alot of depth, get this game
