this reminds me of that game a long time ago where you would scan bar codes and you would get creatures to attack with other people...i never got one since no one else i knew had to to play against

Ah thanks, that joystiq trailer strikes a different tune indeed. I think they should lose the cinematics about the possible abuse of those tiny things for weapons, it just doesn't fit the style.

Really neat ideas but awkward mix of gritty realistic thriller with Pokemon like creature design and gameplay. I can't figure out who the target audience is because it looks too dark and scary for kids of the displayed age, then again, E.T. was like this, scary adults want to abuse your cute alien friend for their powermongering purposes. Maybe this will be working these days again.

Didn't this type of game style die in the late 80s and early 90s? Don't get me wrong, the motion capture is an interesting concept, but the game itself? Not so much...
