Producer Rick White tells us about Inversion, their new third-person shooter with a twist.
nothing original but looks fun
Looks like they have taken allot of stuff from other games gravity isn't anything new how much different can it be from dead space or force unleashed,,,, two guys, army of two, and the and the guy looks like Drake from uncharted. I'll keep my eyes on this one tho the trailer looks awesome
sounds nice did anyone else thought the main player davis looks sorta like chris redfield from resident evil 5? lol
looks amazing, look forward to the story, and playing co op, definitely a big plus
it sounds like it be great
Artist's impressions then.. Hmm.
isnt ricki white a pronstar?
This guy is wierd! He looked at his watch in order to tell more than 365 days from Feb.12.2012? AWKWARD! Show me gameplay, anything can look good on paper.
this game has potential, but not much, and it'll be very hard to capitalise on it. i can see the new gameplay mechanics getting very old and repetitive very fast. to make a game around a mechanic you need to have a mechanic that can be applied in a wide variety of ways, or multiple mechanics, which they don't seem to be doing. that said, they've been working on it for ages apparently, so they might have come up with some great ideas in that time.
they have been working on this for a long time and the releasedate is still a year away??? I have red an early preview once in a gamemag, a long time ago . Well i still have it and they showed the same fotoscreens they are showing right now. That magazine is almost 2 years old
Wait, is not from the developers of timeshift, yes it is. So why no pc version? Oh wait, its Namco, they dont know what pc is. Freaking publishers killing pc versions. WAIIIIIIIT He said it will be on pc in the video. YAY, then why is it not on the left Gamespot plese fix it
meh
I hate in vids how main characters always have two first names.
The gravity control may bring a lot of depth into the combat... Or make the game too easy. But I like the idea, can't wait to see how it goes!
The idea pitch sounds very similar to Dark Void: A new twist on third-person shooters, using a new game mechanic (in Dark Void it was the vertical combat, here it's the gravity manipulation). I hope it won't suffer the same fate as Dark Void.
