Just like the anime...began something great but suddenly just stopped giving us more.

I thought that Inyasha: Feudal Combat was the beginning a new and promising series in the fighting genre. The first game of many...like the DBZ Budokai series. Apparently I was wrong! While having no predessors to compare it to and no successors to improve/expound on it's features, the game is great all on its own. The roster is a bit small when considering the cast of the series but again, I found it exceptable due to my expectations of more games to follow up. All the characters stay true to the anime as far as their personalities, voices, and moves (although something looked a bit different about Naraku). It never mentions it in the game manual but I think its possible to do double finishers with certain combinations of characters. I used Kagura and Sesshomaru in a 2 on 2 battle and right after I used Sesshomaru's finisher, Kagura followed up with her "Dance of The Dead" finisher. To this day, I don't know if that was merely a coincidence or not but it was still pretty awesome.

My Breakdown:

What's Good:

- Graphics
- Unlockable characters
- 2 on 2 battle
- Destructable environments
- Naraku parting words if you beat the game with Inuyasha (CURSE...YOU, YOU, YOU...IN...IN...IN...U...U...U...YASH...YASH...YASH...A...A..A!!!!)

What's Not-So-Good:

- Since this is the only game we got, the roster could have been a lot bigger
- ^ for the same reasons, there could have been a more elaborate story mode

What's Bad:

- The fact that we never got any sequals to this great game!

In all, Its a d@mn shame what happened to the anime and this game. They both had the potential to be even more awesome than they already were.

R.I.P. Inuyasha :-(
