Looks like Ed Boon & Nether Realms are taking the lessons they learned from "MK vs DC" and "Mortal Kombat" to bring us a brand new Super Hero/Comic Book-based fighting game. Dramatic sequences aside, I wonder how it will play like.

I must say I'm a little bothered by how he answered the question of how similar this game will be to Mortal Kombat. His answer was something like, "the only similarity is that there are two people fighting each other in both."
It's fairly obvious the visual style is almost exactly the same as Mortal Kombat, and the gameplay is looking extremely similar as well. The lack of fatalities in this game is not enough of a differentiation for me...
The fact is both games are made by the same studio and inevitably a lot of the qualities will carry over. Totally denying any similarities and deflecting the question seems a little stubborn to me.
The title could imply the game takes place in an alternate dimension where all the characters have god-like powers. Maybe an unknown supervillain made them all equals on a whim. Or possibly magic, the strange effects of a comet, alchemy, a computer simulation, a dream sequence...? Just use your imagination, there has to be some scenario where Superman could beat Batman.
@spellrunner Actually mate, if you read the graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns" you can watch Batman kick the living **** out of Superman. Greatest moment in comic book history if you ask me. The boy scout had it coming!
2 Like I don't understand all that concern about superman being so overpowered that he can just blow everyone else and nobody could take on him.
C'mon people, it's just a game....I mean, take UMVC3 for instance, Frank West Vs. The Hulk? Really? A normal guy kicking Hulks ass with a plunger? Or Chris Redfield beating Thor with a handgun? That makes sense right?
It's Just a game fellows, enjoy it for what it is. If you like superman/batman/flash etc., just pick him, practice a little than kick everybody's ass....It's just that simple.

I'm excited for this but I just really hope it's not too similar to MK9. I'm sure Ed Boon will not disappoint.
for those peeps that did not understand what i meant, is that i wanted ed boon to do with injustice what hakan did with hitman 5.
on an other note:
something that feels is boring is that injustice will have one factor incommon with mk v. DC. and that is that superman is not 100%, i dont really care about superman, but why have superman in the game if he is superior. i dont know how lame the excuse is to why SM is not 100%. why just not have everyone else pack kryptonite punch or something. (you heard it hear first).
one thing i do like is the costume for FLASH!
This is the way he should look. especially if they do make a movie about him and do a JL(A) movie.
The TV behind them looks like it's trolling them by repeating their actions after them. :D

@crash_50 No but it can make it better, what is your problem with people, he's only asking for better graphics and he said it was nice. Go bully someone else preferably not over the internet.
@Arda_Daghan212 While I do agree, I think it'd be better for him to get his bullying tendencies out online then IRL.

I would love to play a fighting game as either Brock Samson or one of the Monarch's henchman, preferably #23, from Venture Bros. An adult swim/Cartoon Network fighting game or something. Characters from Adventure Time, Family Guy, ATHF, Regular Show, Sealab, SPACE GHOST...would probably be terrible, but if done correctly, maybe Smash Bros style, would be epic.
3 Like Why can't Superman simply defeat everyone? Well, that's pretty simple, you don't even need game information to answer this: His morals transform him in a generic/lame hero. He would never punch someone into space and leave him/her there or anything like that.
@Levitas_Eclipse And this is why I've always disliked Superman. I understand at the time of creation it was pretty much the boldest they could do, but still...even when they've tried to put him in darker settings...just so much fail, doesn't work. It's like Batman killing someone (which I know he's done before, but generally he doesn't). Just isn't the same.
@Solid_Mustaine Honestly I'm amazed this hasn't come out yet, even if it was for PS1 or Dreamcast or something. Maybe it's a little too amazing to make reality. Or it's such a high expectation title no developer wants to touch it. But hey, as long as it's better than MK vs DC, I would so play it.
1 Like watching this game play makes me think later on life the DC universe media as in gaming and movies might turn more to mature audience because some of the DC animate movies, nowadays have some mature content
@Robertle419 Though it could've been phrased better, I see what you're saying. And I hope that's the case, as DC has always had a bit more of a mature theme than Marvel (or am I mixing those up?). I think in general EVERYTHING is moving towards more mature content. They'll probably make a dark Superman game but then a kid friendly Wonder Woman game or something.

Not really a fan of DC characters but, will this be a good fighting game? maybe I'll have to try this at some point...
@enrique_marrodz even if you don't like DC characters, it will be nice to play because it really does seem that after making MK9 they removed the bad stuff and added new things, so if u dont look at the characters, it's like an upgraded MK9
@hyper_trunkx Any reason why they named him Dark"seid"? I mean, is it because "side" doesn't look like a name or does it mean something? IDK why I'm stuck on this detail. :D
