Where's the rest of it?

First thing i do with any game besides CoD is jump right into the story. The first thing I had noticed were the graphics. Usually not a big thing to me however, when i see the graphics are worse than that of it predecessor it leaves me scratching my head. Combat feels great however character movement sometimes felt like i was dragging a rock across the 2d environment, once you get used to it its hardly noticeable. After about two and half hours i see in my upper right screen appears "Almost there 50% complete" this made me so angry because i had no where near played as every character in the game. By the end of the game certain characters got multiple chapters while others just went totally missing from the opening cinematic. Other characters of which you do fight with are left with almost no story as if they had been thrown in there just so you could use them. Once the story was over I was left wanting more. So I turn to the online multiplayer. After 10 to 20 minutes of waiting while the game tries to find someone for me to fight, I decided to just go king of the hill which only took 5 minutes. I was surprised when watching other people in the hill fight and it seemed a very good system. When it finally got to my turn I was able to obliterate. Once i was finished flexing my thumbs at the other players I decided to check out what i could get with all the exp I'd been earning. And to no surprise there was almost nothing i could do with it besides unlock artwork and a couple of costumes. This game made me feel like NetherRealm had rushed through this project to allow more time for MK10 to come out while making a roll of cash on something just slapped together. Certain things about this game are great such as the combo breaking "clash" and the environmental damage. While i knew every character except one, i feel they could've had a better character lineup for those who aren't fans of DC and just love fighting games. There aren't many unlockables except for player cards much like CoD. I was ready for the next step of NetherRealm with this game and instead it was a demotion. So Sad
