I was a big comic book fan in middle school, one of my favorite cartoons as a kid was the Super friends. I even had the bed sheets and curtains. I was never a huge Marvel fan, although I did read the comics in my younger years. Hearing the news about this game was very excited, but I didn't want to get the original game once I heard there was going be DLC. I was waiting for this version to finally hit retail, and here it is Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern & more. My favorites in a fighting game. Who can ask for anything more. I think this game great its not perfect but great. Even though I have been hyped for this game since the Sega Genesis days, I will not let the hypeness overrate my review. The game features mainly two types of fighters Power fighters and Finesse fighters. It features a great range of fighters. I have not mastered any heroes yet, but in time I could see myself being a master of Catwoman or Green Lantern. One of the great things about this game, is the fact it is created by the same team that did Mortal Kombat, another fighting game that I really enjoy. They did a really good job on this title and I hope they keep the series going. All in all I love this game and I see myself playing it for a long time.
