you now what, I hope that more batman characters get revealed just to make everyone shut up about there being too many batman characters. You guys are forgetting that Robin, Poison Ivy, Talia/Ras Al Ghul, and Bane all have high chances of making it in. I am expecting at least 1 more batman character, and I hope it is Talia or Ras.

How do any of those characters have "high chances?" An argument could be made for Robin, but none of the others really stand out as "high chance" characters. Although I would really love to see Talia. Ra's would be cool if they got David Warner as his VA.

Please tell me you're seriously joking though. The current Batgirl? Barbara Gordon, with almost 50 years of comic-book history who was once Oracle, was capable of outsmarting Batman himself, and is easily one of the 20 greatest DC superheroes of all time?
Say what you will about how she's been handled since the new 52, but Babs Gordon is one of the top 5 most important and influential DC ladies. I'd wager right after Wonder Woman, Lois Lane, and possibly Black Canary. While I can take or leave her as a playable character because Batgirl I feel would be too much for Batman characters at this point, she's far better than this Bat Wing fella and the slue of Bat knock-off sidekicks who exist. She's easily the most important assist character(excluding Alfred, and non superhero-types, Leslie Thompson, etc.) to Batman after Dick Grayson.
If Bat Wing makes this game before Barbara freakin' Gordon NetherRealm has failed DC's comic book legacy greatly.

Babs is only good when shes in a wheel chair, and I doubt NRS would go that route.
Also why do people prefer Vixen over Animal man? They have the exact same powers, only difference is Animal man is better written.

I have to respectfully disagree. While I prefer her as Oracle, and I much prefer Cassandra Cain, Babs was once an awesome Batgirl.

Though I'd agree about Animal Man, lol. I'd take either him or Vixen, just think there's better options that should come first (Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, etc.)

No it's because she's less impressive than any male Robin. She outsmarted Batman? So has Tim Drake (who has discovered his secret identity as well). She would just end up being a boring version of Batman. Batwing, on the other hand, would actually get his own moveset as he's more Iron Man-like.

For move-set potential? Sure. That's the single thing Batwing has over Batgirl though. And the bolded part is just a re-phrase of the standard go-to "they'd be too similar" response, it's really nothing more than a discredit to the developers, implying they have no original ideas, and an overused excuse to back up not including a character. Similar to "LOL, they'd be a clone."

Seriously? Batgirl is less-skilled in martial arts and standard utility belt gadgets. This makes her a weaker female Batman.The Robins (and even Batwoman) at least have a weapon that would at least make him different from Batman.
How am I discrediting the developers? To not make her a clone, is to make her different from how she is in the comics. Also, this isn't some Capcom game where Iron pulls out a Proton Cannon, X-23 turns invisible, and Shuma Gorath is a complete joke.

Sure, let's just ignore her entire presence in the Silver Age then as a model for woman's rights among other things.
Don't get me wrong she was infinitely better as Oracle, I for one was displeased when DC decided to reduce her to Batgirl, especially when she was (pre-52) about a 30 year old woman far more worthy of being called BatWOMAN.
Dick Grayson wasn't half the man he was before Nightwing and Marv Wolfman's direction of the character, but doesn't mean he didn't have worth in the entire Silver Age beforehand. I'm not gonna even argue that she was far less of a sidekick even then, but whatever.
I suppose from a realistic standpoint that what came from Barbara Gordon being shot in the spine was indeed the hippest and coolest thing to happen to her, perhaps she should've stayed that way...just as Jason Todd should've stayed dead, but unless that magnificently increased Cassandra Cain's(or more recently Stephanie Brown's) chances of being in this game, I really don't care, I think Babs needed a change...just not happy with the one we got.
