Tag Mode.
Yep, tag mode is out. I personally think this mode should always be in fighting games, especially super heroes.
How about CPU vs Mode is there a confirmation or disconfirmation on that? I somewhat think that is NOT in either because when is the last time ED Boon and crew ever done one of those. CPU vs is not a wasted mode either, actually pretty cool and allows the player to select the CPU character they want to fight- this mode also increases re-playability.

I wouldn't be all that surprised if this game had no tag mode. Let's be real here, guys. NS are pretty good developers and their last game (and this game, hopefully) really delivers in most areas. But, there are some glaring things that they've missed that should just be obvious.

I love how there is no source on this. With how popular tag mode was for 2 players playing online on the same console in MK9, I would be very surprised if they did not include a tag mode in this game.

I automatically assumed there was no tag mode. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm really not expecting it to be in.
I like it too, but you guys should face the possibility that this game won't have it. It's really not a big deal anyway...

Guys, you do realize tag mode was optional?
I don't understand how anybody could want tag mode NOT to be in. It's not like it's something super-resource intensive either: no assists need to be made, no additional art. All they do is move one guy off the screen and put another guy in.

Read the article, and have to say, I'll wait until the game to come out to believe if its in or not.. I remember someone saying that on the back of the preview box that it was in.. As for the article, what gets me, is it starts off seeming like it was written even before anything was known, then it switches to what seems like was taken from the comics, then to one of the latest interviews with one of the producers.. It just seems like the guy who wrote it was taking info from all around to make the article.. Just as a couple guys on youtube create videos of them making predictions and everyone is saying so and so is in or not, or whats in the game..
Honestly, I never expected Tag to be in, but I never expected it to be MK9.. It would be awesome if it is in, and honestly, you wont know until the game comes out.. No one from NRS has stated its in or not.. A will say that seeing what they did with MK9, and knowing Boon and the rest of NRS, what has been released is just the beginning, I am sure once the game is released, they will have several surprises in store for us on the game.. I meanwhen MK9 came out, noone could have expected the krypt, and all the options on there, or the Tag mode, hell, it was a week after the game came out before we found out Bablities was in the game, after Boon himself stated he wasn't going to put babalities or Friendships in the game..

Definitely agree with you. We don't know anything until there's an official trailer, or official info release from NRS. Or obviously, when the game itself comes out.

yeah it sucks there is no tag mode, I think its about the only thing ive heard about the game so far that I dont like, but ill get over it, I will miss going to friends house getting drunk playing co op against people.
