I was curious as to what hero's past Batman, Superman, and Justice Legaue are popular.
After looking over several top 10 top 20 top 50 and top 100 lists this is the LOOSE order.
First its always some combination of the 5:
Batman
Superman
Flash
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern
Then its some combination of the 5
Green Arrow
Robin/Nightwing
Aquaman
Shazham
Martian ManHunter
Then it gets interesting
Booster Gold is next...always. Sometimes he's above some of the 5 listed above.
Then its a mix between
Blue Beetle
Zantanna
Power Girl
Black Canary
Animal Man
Hawkman/Woman
Swamp Thing
Its around here Cyborg gets listed as well (guess he has yet to take off)
Then to round out the bottom half it varies greatly.
You get plastic man, firestorm, doctor fate, and Atom always flaoting around there somewhwere...but also a couple of hero's I'm unfamiliar with. Etrigan, Spectre, Adam Strange, The Question, Phantom Stranger, Sandman, and Captain Atom. This is also where the various teen titan members including static get listed as well.
Guys like Constantine, Jonah Hex, Watchman characters, V, and Morpheus can break the top 10 or be off the list completely...I guess because there DC continuity is sometime in question.
But uh...yea...so it looks like if Boon wants to throw a curvball it'll be Booster Gold? Thats odd to me...never thought he was that popular.

Swamp THing can alsos uprisingly break the top 1 from time to time...once again must be continuity issues

Well i'm really hoping for Swamp Thing, even if its DLC. I think we are in for some surprises with this game for sure.

I think after the 90's superman cartoon he fell into obscurity...but he's in the animal man comic, and he looks cool.

Are we talking current popularity or overall popularity. If current popularity then I'd say your list is fairly accurate. If overall then top three would be Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. In that order.

I'm praying Booster gets in but if not there's always DLC (but I'd much rather play as him outright.)
