This games really worth a check, best racing physics in most games out there and real good music, great for importing.
You start the game off using the main character, Takumi. He was born in Japan and his dad gave him his car which is a Toyota Trueno.
When playing the head-to-head racing is tense, the better you drive the more reward you get. The vehicles upgrade system in the game is used to customize your car with spoilers,engines,mufflers,wheels, and other tuning systems. Everytime you defeat one of the other characters/racers you unlock their vehicles for use in the Arcades Modes, and the Time Trial Mode avaiable in the game. The music in the game is some the best music out their in my opinion, amazing techno music with a mix of screaming electric guitars which goes awesome with the Japanese scene and the racing. You only start off with half of the games soundtrack while you unlock them through out the game. Multiplayer is the only thing that lacks in this game because of course their is none... if their was this game would've of been a good tense 2-player action. The only Multiplayer avaiable was in your local arcade when each player held down the the break for a few seconds which lead to a Multiplayer Screen. Overall this game is wicked, has the best racing physics iv'e ever seen and excellent music and an amazing story with anime cut scenes, so if you like to import games from Japan this is a must wheather you like racing game or you don't
