Beautiful game, but now I'm grinding because equipment is too expensive

At first I really enjoyed this beautiful and addicting game. The repetition is something I don't mind all that much, because this game became a sort of relaxing activity for me. Since it is so easy to play, you only feel a bit of gamer rush when trying to defeat a boss at a high level. If you're looking for plot, pass on this one. It's pretty brainless. But, relaxing and very pretty to look at.

So why did I rate this 7?

I am at a level where I just can't level build without spending HOURS searching for gold... or spending about $100 in the APP store to buy gold. See, your experience points are dependent on maintaining a constant cycle of new (and expensive) armor and weapons, and gold becomes scarce at higher levels. I found myself doing a lot of "grinding". I was killing a lot of opponents over and over again, without the benefit of earning experience for doing this. All I was getting was gold to buy new gear so that I could then earn more XP. In brief, all experience earned is dependent on whether your items can receive experience points. Once your items reach mastery level, your items no longer accumulate experience. This means that YOU cannot earn experience until you replace your gear with higher level stuff.

When monster drops are about 8k-10k gold, and the gear you NEED to progress in the game cost 10mil, 16mil, 24mil... You just lose steam and drop the game.

YES I can buy gold through the APP store, but I would be spending close to $100 cash at THIS point in my game to progress, and that is simply out of the question.
