Infected allows you to create your own character or avatar and use as you demolish these infected things. You have huge amounts of avatar types to pick from. Also as a bonus you can unlock Slipknot band members as avatars, and also Chimera lead singer for an avatar. Since Majesco published this game Bloodrayne is also an unlockable avatar. You can choose clothes, hair, and clothes and hair colors for them.
There are plenty of weapons to use during Campaign mode. Starting with a Shotgun and end up with a RPG or better. You can also get special weapons that last for a short period of time. Some of these special weapons are chainsaws, flame grenades and regular grenades. Also double damage, and others.
The story mode or Campaign Mode is the only flaw in this game. It is short and you can breeze through in less than 5 hours if you really into the game. In Campaign mode you go through missions killing infecteds, saving innocent civilians, and protecting cops and others.
The Infecteds range from people that are infected into large, ugly trolls, and skeletons. Even infected Santas! What's better than that? The enemies can also wield weapons like guns or chainsaws.
This game has the best soundtrack in any PSP game yet. It also has great graphics and frame rate. It is one of the best on the PSP so far. The soundtrack includes bands such as Slipknot, Chimera, and Ill Nino. As an extra there is 3 music videos on this UMD.
The games multiplayer aspect is also great. With plenty modes and options to choose from. You can even "Infect" other peoples PSPs with victories and you can track your infection as well.
For a conclusion this is a fun, shooter with plenty of action. Just needs more story it would be a lot better. This game has a great multiplayer and a lot of value. I recommend this to any fans of, action, shooting, or survival horror games.
