3D Zombie Shooter Fun at its best!

Infected is one of those games that you can pick up and play for a couple of hours before you notice. It's funny, it has awesome music and the graphics are pretty darn good for a handheld device. Although you could say that about most PSP games which have raised the bar. The great thing about this game is that you can turn on your psp and be playing a quick map in about 1 min. The problem with most psp games I've played is the load times. While this maybe acceptable for consoles, on a portable system you want to be able to pick it up and play right away. This is one of the reasons I love my DS so much. It's also one of the reasons why I love Infected.

When playing Infected there are two game modes the single player campaign and the online multiplayer mode. I have been playing the single player game and haven't tried the multiplayer mode. This is because when you lose in a multiplayer match you'll be stuck with the skin of the player that beat you. While that's pretty cool, I want some more play time and experience before I go out there. Just so that I can defend my skin.

In the single player campaign that I'm playing there are multiple maps that you have to fight your way through, while killing all sorts of different zombies. Hands down the best zombie I've seen is the Santa zombie which has such an evil "ho ho ho" yell that its funny. Between missions there are some pretty funny movies and also some hilarious audio cut scenes. Some great things about the single player game are the custom avatars, or skins where you can design yourself. Plus there is a reward system where you get medals and money that you can use to get bonus avatars and weapon and health upgrades.

Overall, Infected is a great 3D shooter that's a lot of fun and a great way to kill a lot of time while on the road.
