The Plus: Open world game play gives you dozens of ways to upgrade your powers. The Storyline is one of the best this year, the controls are very easy to get a hang of. Game leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat.

The Negative: Story can be slightly predictable at times, Side quests get repetitive, Would have liked to see a few more powers, Camera seemed to work against you on some missions.

Released a little more than 2 months day ago Infamous tells the story of Cole McGrath, a delivery person who is given a unique package and when he gets to the destination it goes off almost destroying a entire town, I'm not sure if this is suppose to be modeled after a specific city but it didn't really matter, it still looked nice.

The Main goal of this game is to find out what happened that led up to the explosion which means you will be doing missions and taking orders from a shady member of the US government. I have to admit this is one of the better games for the PS3 this year I like to consider Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard to be one of the worst PS3 Games this year, and this game is by far the best so far to date, anyway back to the story as Cole you'll be doing missions and taking advice from your friend Zeke who wants to be a hero or anti hero like Cole, you'll meet new people along the way you'll also try to fix the relationship you had with your girlfriend.

The controls are pretty reliable from what I remember there isn't a real locking on system you push R1 if I remember right and he aims it's basically like that. I didn't notice any severe issues with the controls at all, the only issue is that sometimes you want him to grab onto something while climbing and he doesn't or he'll climb onto a alternate area I'm not sure if that's control or game play you can decide that.

Audio, it's pretty superb they get the sounds of a town that's gone to hell down perfectly. The sounds of people losing all hope or the sounds of the police fighting enemy forces are clear as if you're right there in the game.

Visually, I've heard people complain that the areas off the island aren't clear, that's true but I think the whole reason for this is the fact that they want you to focus on the main Island your on. You're not meant to look over at the Islands that weren't touched but more observe the islands that were attacked. For this I don't mind that at all.

Game play, it's pretty crisp as I stated earlier the only issue there seemed to be was the issue of grabbing onto something you didn't want to grab onto. Mission wise the main story missions were unique but the side missions seemed to be too standard, Blow up a bus, destroy eavesdropping devices, Follow people and what I have to say is the most annoying which is the sat uplinks, those were almost murder for me. Story mode was pretty good, the only downside as I said was the side missions and there was some times that the story seemed to get kind of thin that you could tell what was going to happen but it wasn't anything that would turn you off from the game.

The only personal complaints I had with the game was I would have liked to see a few more powers something that could be strength related and possibly a flight option I know that Cole had the glide ability but I would have loved to be able to fly that would have been awesome.

Overall, I give this game a 9.5 out of 10 due to the small issues that I previously stated. It's almost the most perfect game for the PS3 this year to date.
