Aiming a shot from the top of the junk tower... I am Cole... I am sure as hell not inFamous.

User Rating: 8 | inFamous PS3
Presentation: inFamous is very dark for a teen game. The city has no hope in it, gangs run freely, and Elvis (Zeke) is giving me instructions. Yet the more power you restore, the more uplifting it feels: gaining new power, watching people cheer you, kicking Reapers off buildings... it all feels right. The story is very good, better than many games nowadays, and the characters are very organic. They have problems, and it is well projected by great voice acting. 9/10.

Graphics: Eh... we've got a mixed bag here. The electricity is fantastic. The city is cool, building are well-detailed, and animations are usually fluid... for Cole at least. Other than him, everyone is kind of blocky, and there's TONS of pop-in.Plus the framerate often takes hits. 7/10.

Sound: Beautiful. I have 5.1 Surround, and inFamous is a great way to show it. Sasha's 'ringing around your head' voices show surround, as well as if you don't look at people. Voice acting and dialogue is great, especially the Michael Phelps reference. Sound effects are great, as well as music. 9.5/10

Gameplay: Sweet! Shooting and powers are awesome, many missions are well designed, save the far too numerous underground ones. The climbing is my favourite from any game ever. Anything is your jungle gym. Plus, due to varied architecture, there's lots of stuff to climb. Enemies are cool, except not very varied. 9/10

Lasting appeal: Depends on the first time. I'll get around to it as a bad guy, but now I'm occupied. Lots of side missions, blast shards and dead drops, but few are worth your time. Trophies are well thought to reel you back. 8/10
