Cool story, nice graphics and a good armament of powers...
Infamous draws you into a alternate future where you take the lead role of Cole MacGarth who can be a bit of a protaganist. He finds himself in the middle of a deranged world where he finds himself in a nasty conspiracy, only to find that he was the accident of a test site.
Your character (after days of recuperation) discovers he was blessed (or cursed) with a talent that enables him to control electricity in the rawest form. This talent will challange him on a very karma like level and will test him in this upside down world of suffering from a physical level.
In the game you will face several gangs and each gang has their own unique abilities and leaders. The story of this game is great and you will find that you wasted countless hours just following various paths. Infamous does make great use of the PS3s strengths and will test your resolve. This game is a great addition to anyone's library and with them selling as "Greatest Hits" you can aquire your copy at a very good bargain.
Overall I give Infamous a 9 out of 10. It backs the power of the PS3 well but the game does get a bit challanging on certain levels. It will always be a great series to the PS3 and compliments each other well.
