Hey, Game Reviewer here to review the amazing sequel to a game, that made the PS3 a big contender to the other consoles, inFamous 2. In 2009 we were astonished by the visuals, gameplay and sound of the PS3 exclusive that would become one of the PS3's best exclusive of all time. We played it for hours and hours, sucked in to its complex story and couldn't stop playing till we beat it. We were so sad when we beat it cause we wanted more of Cole's (the main protagonist) electric powers and we also wanted the deep and complex story not to end. In 2011 inFamous 2 came out and after so much wait fans alike couldn't wait to play it. The story in this game is Cole needs to enhance his powers, so he moves to New Marais, a way different setting than the big city of Empire City and on the way he meets two girls: Kuo, a NSA agent and Nix, a voodoo loving girl, and of course the karma choices are back(for example in certain situation you can choose Kuo for good karma or Nix for bad karma). The visuals for this game is even better than the first, as soon as you play this game you can tell that the frame rate is running way faster and swifter than the first game and that the characters are more realistic and they have motion caption actors now to add even more realism and you can automatically can tell Cole moves more like a person and they made use of the comic cut-scenes again. Which was the highlight of the first game. The controls for this game is again even better and they fixed some of the controls cause in this game you get not only enhanced versions of powers Cole already had but he gets even more powers including a melee weapon (which makes melee way better than it used to be). The gameplay is again even better they added a power chooser slider so if you press a button you can switch powers from one to another one and the game works so well on the frames it is working on and they even added so UGC (user generated content) to add in some multiplayer aspect in it you can create and share the levels with your friends and everybody on PSN and it works really well and there is also way more DLC than the first one which only had one and it was free. The dialogue is even more engaging and at times when there was a non comic cut-scene I forgot it was I playing game and thought I was watching a movie.
Overall this game is a really great follow-up to the first. Everything in this game is either in the first or new and the stuff that was in both games is way better in this game, you will notice that Cole got a make-over but not a big one, its because he is in a warmer climate and even his best friend Zeke got a make-over to again not big. My verdict on this game is that its amazing and it deserves a perfect score 10 out of 10.
