Indigo Prophecy for the PS2 and xbox is a very unique, it really defines the meaning of cinematic gameplay. The game has an amazing story and you'll find that once you've gotten into the better parts of the story that you won't want to stop playing this game.

In the game you play as Lucas Kane, you are just a normal guy until one night changes your life forever. Lucas goes to a diner to get a bite to eat but he goes into the bathroom and goes into an uncontrollable trance. Before you know it, Lucas is stabbing an innocent man in the heart with his knife, when the murder is over, you take control of Lucas. You must hide the evidence of the murder, and get out of the diner as soon as possible. You get home and you can't believe what's happened and then you go on from there. But there are 2 parts to the story, their's Lucas' side to the story, and there's the NYPD's side of the story. In the game you can play as either 2 cops, Carla or Tyler. As you're trying to evade the cops with Lucas, you're trying to find the murderer on Carla's or Tyler's side of the story. This plays out really well and is very fun. The game's best traits are the story (which I just talked about), the sound of the game is great, the game is very unique and fun. But this game has a lot of dissapointing bad traits, the game's graphics are unfortunatly pretty bad, and the game's controls and camera angles and pretty brutal. To top that off, the game doesn't pack much value. The story mode is very fun but very short, you'll probably be able to beat this game in around 8 hours. And since the game has no multiplayer, and since the game doesn't have any replay value. Once you've beaten this game you probably won't come back to it.

But even though this game might not present itself that well, it's still a great game. Indigo Prophecy is a unique game that I recommend for any gamer who owns a PS2, or xbox.
