Everything the first one should have been!

Star Wars Battlefront II may be one of the best Star Wars games in quite a while. Why do I say that? One word: Space…………..The final frontier. To boldly go where no/
Sorry I got sidetracked. The space battles are the best since Buffalo wings vs. TIE Fighter. I mean X-Wing. (I must be getting hungry) Seriously, the space battles are awesome. There is something enjoyable about flying into an enemy mother ship, fighting your way through the ground troops to the control room and resetting the turrets to fire on their own ships. The dog fights are intense and the music is seamless. It really gives you the impression that you are in the movie. Another new feature is ground assault where every character is a hero so you may see several princess Leias(in her infamous cinnamon bun hairstyle), Darth Vaders, Darth Mauls, Luke Skywalkers and yodas along with many others at the same time. Although this mode can eventually wear thin, which may explain why it’s only available on a few maps but it’s still a lot of fun to play almost any hero whenever you want. In the normal battle mode only the top player of each team has the privilege of playing a hero(this can be altered by the sever admin). While they are not invincible, skilled hero players can make a big difference for their respective teams.
Star Wars Battlefront II is fun to play as far as the consoles are concerned although I hate to say it, but it leaves much to be desired on the PC, because Battlefront II on the PC lacks the smooth game play that most FPS PC games usually have. Or to say it more bluntly, Star Wars Battlefront II plays like a port on the PC. Even on a high end system, the frame rate and overall response is much lower than it should be. So unless you’re just a huge Star Wars nut, I would give a lower recommendation for the PC. Although to my surprise, according to several polls, PC gamers have been far more forgiving of the game than I would have anticipated, even though most gaming publications have not.
Ultimately that’s why I feel the X-Box is the best version of the game. (No HD on PS2)
Pros: Impressive Space combat. Ability to play as heroes. Improved graphics and beautiful maps
Cons: No Death Star space battle. No City In the Clouds map :+(. No hot button to switch from first to third person view. Weak PC support. Unable to play as Jaba the Hut.
