A fun game and thrilling game that if not for graphical problems, would have been pretty good...

User Rating: 6.8 | Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb PS2
Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb a very hard game to describe. There were a lot of mixed reactions about this game, most of them being negative. Now this is how I look at the game. The game play is by far the best part of this game. With fun levels and challenging opponents and bosses, that are very clever and fit the Indian Jones style very well, adds to the game greatly. This is an adventure game that is packed with surprises and tricks. Battling this mammoth white shark that guards a secret is some of the uniqueness of the game. I order to beat it you will have to risk your life to swim to a section and hurry up on to land before it eats you alive. Then lure it in and rush to close a gate before it swims away. In this short period you have to swim to a center island before he breaks out. This is what I am talking about. That is what you would expect to see in an Indiana Jones movie. Now from the best part of the game to the worst part of the game. The Graphics. This are one of the worst graphics games I have ever played. Horrible senery combined with bad player animations and some people you can not even make out to be a person. The sound is ok. The classic Indiana Jones music plays in certain parts and adds to the game. The sounds of the guns and Indy’s whip are also pretty good. The voices are the bad part of the sound in this game. With already poor looking people, now with bad voices just adds to the lack of inspiration in this game. Over all it is a pretty fun game to play. If you own or like the Indiana Jones movies and it is a rainy day and no game to play go out and rent it. Other then that this is a total waste of time and money.

Cover Artwork ~B~ What, if this was made into a movie, the poster would look like. The classic Indiana movie post comes to the game cover.
