Superman is the most powerful being in all of comics, he hasn't even hit his potential yet. The longer he lives under the yellow sun, the more powerful he becomes.
Batman has admitted that if Superman really wanted to beat him, he could do it in an instant. And you're right, it isn't about strength, but speed. Nothing Batman could truly do (lolgadgets) would actually hit a being that travels faster than the speed of light.
@usmfan84 except for kryptonite or inventing a device to block out the sun. batman/bruce wayne's smarts could probably defeat superman. strength for strength, punch for punch batman probably stands no chance but why would batman ever decide to go 1 on 1 with superman? as much as superman can take out batman when he wants batman could probably do the same to superman if he really wanted to.

@ilovyou There the same designs for The New 52 DC Reboot. So I assume they'd like to make media as close to the comic uniform designs like they did for other forms of media
Ughhhhhh, I feel cheated. They are finally giving us Harlequin just like they promised for MK vs DC. I swore I wouldn't buy any more of their games after that... but... their looks pretty awesome!
Yeah, its not just a question of who's the strongest, Because Batman is a gadgets man, so he can use kryptonite in his own gadgets.... but hand to hand combat, without the kryptonite, Superman would win easily :)
