Simply one of the best RPGs of all time.

I bought this game off a friend back in the late 90s. When I started playing it, I couldn't stop. Something about the game pulled me in right away and kept me hooked. Whenever I play it, I feel like I'm a part of the story and that all of the things in the game are really happening.
The game is based around a small boy named Will who lives with his grandparents in a town called South Cape. Will's father was lost on a doomed expedition to the "Great Pyramid." When you start the game, you learn of a comet heading towards the earth. This comet is changing nature itself into evil creatures. You learn through Gaia, the spirit of earth that Will has a variety of different magical powers and forms that he can change into to help save the earth from it's ultimate destruction. Some of Will's friends come along and help him during the journey, and Will falls into a romantic relationship with the princess of the province, Kara. In the end, Will defeats the dark comet and the earth is saved and brought into modern times.
Even though this game doesn't have amazing, flashy graphics or the best sound or whatever, it still has an amazing, in-depth storyline that is only comparable to FF7. I loved this game when I first bought it and I can still say it's one of my favorite games of all time.
