the game is awesome!

ill say game looks better than blazing angels but anyway i dont trust until review for this game its done, also people had play the demo are saying game is a little bit better than blazing angels, yes ill wait for review!

gamhog5:balzing angels isnt crap..is just arcade a good quality arcade but the arcade just doesnt match with a sim sometimes il 2- vs blazing angels? well..il-2 has the point but only just

I played the demo it's only the tutorial and like the first 2 or 3 missions. It wasn't great but no bad...My opinion I would give it like a 6.5 out of 10.

I am downloading the demo on X-box live right now...this video looks good so I might get this game if the demo is good.

Played the Demo now available on PS store and believe me you will not be disappointed. Graphics are so smooth and realistic, plane handling is a little difficult with the hand-held so I think a joystick is gonna be a must. Three types of flight, arcade, realistic and simulator, missions look good, AI is clever but not overpowering, landing and take off is included. Never got to go multiplayer with demo but I think this game is gonna sort out the men from the boys....

If you read the preview on gamespot a couple of months ago i beleive, they had said that the new Il-2: BoP is not a full simulator, and that it drifts aways slightly from its pc roots, to facilitate the use of a console controller, so for all of you hoping to find the same amount of realism as the good old pc version, i am with you, in hoping, that they kept the sim feel, cause the old Il-2 kicked ass! cant wait for this one to come out

Finally an actual WW2 combat SIMULATOR none of that blazing angels crap

I'm diggin' the soundtrack and cool smoke effects from damaged planes. Some people want a true sim and others want an arcade feel. I want it to be like the original pc game which could be adjusted to make it is hard or as easy as you wanted. The physics of the original are still impressive but the graphics are just too ugly to look at anymore. I hope this game feels like the original but looks like the trailers. I will watch this game closely!

Hope its a sim so it can be challenging and flying the real menuevers. Gonna keep an eye on this game. I wish Ace Combat was on PS3.

hate to say it but, they should cut back on the tracers and make them slimmer.

It seem like another WW2-arcade-Dogfight-Game is coming out. I love IL2 still and I hope it will become a simulation

alexyyz: its is going to be all you want it to be,i really cant see this game having the same sort of appeal if its made into a balzing angels clone i certainly want it to be closer to a simulator than a watered down arcade version

If this game is a nice strategy sim, working your way up and having to take off and land the planes, with long missions... it is going to be a blast! if it is an arcade style it will be a waste of effort!!! We are tired of arcace style games!!
