IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey Behind-the-Scenes (Xbox 360)

They don't need to take samples from the aircraft in the game. The engine is what makes the sound. It's like changing a car's engine. Even if it is a different engine, the technology is pretty much the same, so the sound is pratically the same. Maybe a frequency or two changes and you wouldn't even notice it.

i love how they dident get one of the aircraft that is actually in the game to get sound samples from that....alil dissapointed with that aspect

I really hate it, if they post a video in the PSP section, which has no PSP gameplay at all.

@Iffy350: Wasn`t talking about BF 2142, but Battlefield 1943... Or Battlefield 1942. Havent tried 2142, have no plans on doing so either :) Yes, I guess you cant compare 2 such different games. I just hope it similar to flying in bf 1942-3.

@Anarqy: Battlefield, really!?! Flying in battlefield is like using the gun turrent in a pacific fighters B-25J. You cannot compare Il-2 to battlefield. Il-2:1946 is a much better game than Battlefield 2142.

I love flying on BF and I have a feeling that this will be a polished version of that.. I actually hope so. Still not sure if Im prepared to pay a full price for the game tho. Think Ill get it when it "cools" down a little..

the movie here shows the game with a hole lot more of detail, the demo is fun but i guess it will be more polished, i hope... its fun anyway, the demo is way to short, enought to learn how to fly, and the sound is just no amazing....i still have hope on this game!!! :)

@The_Greg Your wrong man it's all about the effort, and most developers today don't even try to make an effort when it comes to the PS2. It's not about graphics it's about the story the characters and the gameplay that suck the player in. Yes graphics do play a part in a games development a very small one mind you. For example if a game has great graphics with a terrible story and gameplay does that make it a good game? I don't think so. A perfect example of this is Bionic Commando, great graphics but the gameplay was terrible and the game suffered for it so do you see my point now? just because the PS2 is 9 years old doesn't mean it can't have some great games. It's all up to the developers there the one's that have the power to make great games on the PS2 but now a days they just don't care because the PS2 is 9 years old, I don't know about you but that's a pretty poor excuse.

it's not even about the effort, it's just that the older consoles are not powerful enough to run them in the same way.

Come on get real man whenever a great game goes multiplatform the attention to detail and quality is always lost on the DS and PS2 versions. Sometimes devs give the PSP the shaft too but not as much as the DS and PS2 when it comes to multiplatform games. The reason why is because the PS3 and XBOX 360 versions sell more that's why devs put more effort into those versions. It's a real sham though now a days devs treat the PS2 as if it were an old man about to die that nobody wants anymore, because 65% of the games that come out for the PS2 are half %#$*$ versions of the PS3 and 360 versions or just half %#$*$ games to begin with.

I will be definitely getting my hands on this stunning, beautiful flight-sim, as a vet from Pc version the Xbox360 is graphically stunning.

Il-2 is the type of game that good gamers play real well. If you can't play the arcade port of the best PC combat flightsim ever made than you really do **** But you beat halo 3 on expert!?! So did everyone else! FYI, Halo is an easy game and so is 2 and 3.

I didn't enjoy the demo on 360. I'm not sure if I'll get this game or not.

they are taking this game the whole extra mile it seems I look forward taking the helm and dogfighting my way to victory...
