The IL-2 Sturmovic: 1946, is the ultimate World War 2 flight combat simulator. I am ware that Ubisoft are bringing out another World War 2 flight simulator, on the Battle of Britain. How much better can that be? I have just received the particular game today, and am very satiated by the fact that one can play numerous missions, and that one can choose to play in the side of 5(?) different air forces, at different times. The only grouse that I have, is that I need to insert the DVD in the DVD drive, every time I need to play. Also, that the game is not compatible in Vista mode, but in Windows 2000/XP mode. I can play Band of Brothers, and Chessmaster Grandmaster edition, without loading the DVD. I can also play Silent Hunter 4, without the DVD, thanks to the patches I downloaded from gamespot.com. I may need to purchase another DVD soon, if I am not careful with my present one. Can I apply a patch, whereby I do not need the DVD?
