Hard.

User Rating: 8.7 | Ikaruga GC
No story, no cut-scenes, only 5 levels, insanely repiticious, retardedly hard, no power-ups, so what's great about Ikaruga? It's immensely fun. Despite the whole meaning of this is game is to play the same levels over and over again, you still go back to play it again. Why? Because it's all about improvement. Even with just 5 chapters, and a easy setting, if your not used to shooters, its going to take ALOT of time to get trough this game. As mentioned before, this game is unbelievable hard, if shooters is not your kind of game. The only reason to go back to this game, is to make adjustments to your route and style in order to get more points. Graphically this game is impressive, with lot of beautiful effects, and pretty looking bosses and ships. Actually the game only used half of the screen space for the game. There are two huge black on each side of your screen, just like in a widescreen movie, but vertically instead. You can get around this by tilting the TV on it's side, so the game fill up the entire screen. The audio is also of the better variety, with good music and sound-effects. Overall, a great game, but preferably for shooter fans.
