Just finished the HD version. A great game but it can be frustrating with the aggressive shadows and a handful of slightly unfair puzzles. The game lacks a tutorial, which is fine, but if you're like me and don't use a walkthrough or look at a manual, then knowing that you can swing on chains and throw bombs will save you a bit of frustration.

While Ico may have roots in classic adventure games, it strips away several conventions of the genre and becomes a game unlike any other. GameSpot's Miguel Lopez gives a full run-down on this game that defies description.
