This is what I call a fun platformer
Story: There isn't an official storyline, but it's pretty easy to come up with one. ou play as PoPo/The Blue Ice Climber, and climb to the top of the mountain to get your stolen food back.
Gameplay/controls: Compared to Super Mario Bros., the controls on this game are kind of slippery, enough to get you pissed, but once you're used to the controls, than it's nothing but FUN going up 32 mountains, which you can choose any of them to start the game.
Characters: In this multiplayer game, the first player plays as PoPo, The Blue Ice Climber. The second player plays as NaNa, The Pink Ice Climber. The enemies are creatures of the arctic, which makes complete sense in my opinion.
Graphics: This game has some very colorful graphics for an early NES game. I can't say I have any complaints about the graphics.
Comments: Easy? No. Frustrating? Definitely, but Ice Climber is very fun regardless. What makes Ice Climber even better though is the multiplayer option. Other people might say this game sucks, but I say it's pure fun, no matter how you look at it. Not only that it serves as a different platformer than SMB.
