Despite the crappy jumping and the slight physics problems, this is a game to take a look at.

User Rating: 7 | Ice Climber NES

Ice Climber is a video game for the NES which requires you to get to the top of a mountain, while avoiding obstacles and enemies. The stars of this game are Popo and Nana. You can play either one-player or with a friend in two-player. The main objective is to get to the top of the mountain, while avoiding obstacles and enemies. There is a bonus stage where you can pick up vegetables while getting to the bird at the very top of the stage. At the end of the stage, you will get bonus points for doing certain things like breaking platforms, killing birds, reaching the top of the mountain and breaking falling icicles. One notable enemy in the game is the Polar Bear, who appears if you take too long in a level to hurry things up by pounding the ground and trying to kill you if you are behind.

What I like about the game is the action and the fun had in this game, as well as the gameplay and the classic arcade action fun to be had in this game. My issues with the game are the problems with the physics and the jump range is off, which can be a huge problem when it comes to jumping up to the next platform.

Overall, this is a good game for the NES, and I think that Nintendo need to make more Ice Climber games in the future. This game is available on NES, GBA, Wii, 3DS and Wii U if you want to give this game a try.
